“We booked this place to try somewhere new—my family and I visit Shelton every summer. The kids weren’t too thrilled with the muddy beach, but overall, we really enjoyed our stay. I do wish the weather had been a bit warmer—it was in the 70s and a little windy, but that’s out of anyone’s control.The house was very clean and easy to find, which we really appreciated. “Absolute Gem near the lake! While the location and cute caboose of a house was amazing to stay at, the Owner, Shannon was the Rock Star!! We had an extended stay of two week, she brought Fresh Linens and towels frequently and made sure the Trash was emptied regular twice a week. We had Fire wood, Charcoal Brickets and lighter fluid also. It was an amazing two weeks. Becky and Don,who run the Offut Lake resort were amazing.
