"We stayed 2 nights on 2 different weeks in October 2026. This is a property to choose for its location: peaceful, gorgeous setting with every room provided a sitting area (patio or balcony) overlooking the river, only a few steps away. The staff are pleasant, too. Free parking. Downsides are that this is an older motel-type property. Rooms accessed by a short flight of stairs. No real amenities in the rooms: no desk, no fridge or microwave, not even a kettle to make coffee or tea. Tiny TV, internet kept cutting out. No grab bars in the shower. There is a gourmet restaurant on the premises. The food is great, but we found the menu a bit sparce and rather overpriced for the quantity. Great view from the dining room, though!"
