“Lovely boutique hotel in a gorgeous, unique setting on the Pacific Ocean. Quiet, picturesque and intimate. Food and service was very good. The physical structures and fixtures are now beyond their best before date. A minor update of the buildings, etc. would instantly make it a five star experience.”

“It was an amazing place! Just breathtaking and peaceful. The staff was incredibly kind and went beyond the normal routines and expectations! Food was delicious, and so many great meals options on the menu. The infinity pool was my regular hangout, just floating for hours. They even set up an excursion for me to go horseback riding, even the couple who took me out riding were so kind to me and we ended up riding on the beach at sunset. I would recommend this resort to anyone for any type of trip.……

“The stay was amazing from start to finish. Big thank you to Alberto and the rest of the El Edén crew. We arrived a few hours before check-in and Alberto offered to store our bags for us and keep in touch via WhatsApp to let us know when the room was ready. The suite we had booked met all our needs: big comfy bed, strong AC, shower with consistent hot and cold water. There was access to cold filtered water on every floor. Alberto offered us very reasonably priced laundry service as well. One……

“Good basic local hotel in a magical location - please know this is a good Mexican hotel, not Canadian or American, so adjust your expectations. Incredible view but you’ll have to work for it, up a series of switchbacks on a very steep and winding cobblestone road. Down is harder to navigate but the heat gets you on the way up if you try to head back for a siesta or a bit of pool time. No food or drink available, which means you’ll have to plan well, as this hill is between you and all food and……
