“Great place will go again”

“Giving this an overall of 2/5 stars. The only thing saving it from 1/5 was the friendliness and hospitality of the staff. I stayed for 4 nights during UMich commencement, since I booked late and everything else in A2 was $500/night minimum. I had low expectations, thinking you get what you pay for, but I woke up the last morning covered in bedbug bites. I think no matter how cheap an establishment is, the patrons should realistically be able to expect the room to be free of bug……

“The room looks fine but upon inspection you will see cracks and broken tile. The tub drips constantly. Prior customers clothes were left hanging on the bathroom door. The fireplace was a nice touch and it is not too noisy. For the price this is what you get. It was under $150 a night and we were there for a school graduation and all other hotels were charging $300+ a night. So this is as expected. The room was clean except for those issues mentioned. “The sheets were torn and threadbare. This could be said of the property in general. In fairness, just a cheap place to sleep.”
