“This stay was better than imagined. If you are contemplating booking with Joshua, just do it! The place is exactly as shown in pictures. The room was comfortable and amenities worked well. We received airport transfer from the host as well as transportation around the island! We really appreciated that. Host is responsive and available via text/call. The area surrounded is beautiful with lots of greenery and is mainly private/quiet except for occasional dog barking and other occupants. But other……

“Place was in a building under construction in which the apartment is very hidden and the instructions to find it were not clear. The place was really dark at night and made everything more difficult to find. Someone saw us struggling at night trying to find the place and guided us to the apartment. “I absolutely loved my cottage but had I read the fine print I would never have booked it. The listing evidently stated that the wonderful pool was NOT for the use of those renting other than the big, main house. To my great good fortune, there was absolutely no one staying there but me- and that may be because the property is obviously undergoing some…um…improvements. Wood slabs, tools, tons of leaves and a bit of debris throughout the grounds. My own cottage on the inside was perfectly……

“Overall, this place worked well for a short stay. It’s a bit out of the way, but manageable—you can walk to the main road and easily catch a bus or taxi. The neighbourhood felt safe during the day, though arriving late at night might feel a bit uneasy for some travellers unfamiliar with the area. The outdoor pool was a nice feature with good seating areas; however, it is shared with two other apartments, which wasn’t clearly stated in the listing. “Dawson's hideaway was a nice place to stay, the owner was very pleasant and welcoming. There are quite a lot of places within the area to walk to, like places to eat, bars and the mall is just a short ways away. A nice well kept yard with fruit trees that provided a lot of shade from the sun. I would recommend traveling with mosquito repellent for the evening to avoid mosquito bites. we purchased from the pharmacy on the corner. My husband, myself and our daughter traveled and stayed for 3 night……
