I loved that they provided a light meal for dinner. The room was clean. Loved that the pool/hot tub was opened until 11pm. Also, the TV had loads of channels, even HBO.
Awesome hotel with a great view of the mountains. Walking distante to nice restaurants and bars. Great location!
They were doing construction on the hall where we needed to walk. The floor wasn't great. We have stayed here before though and it was great
Cookies at check in and a welcome pack. Location within walking distance to great restaurants.
Our stay at the Residence Inn was very nice the area was quiet and the rooms very clean and well maintained. The only difficult was when approaching from the north you had to drive to the end of the block and make a u turn to access the property because of a median in the street.
Staff was awesome. Rooms were dated and need to be updated.
Hot tub was great... too bad it wasn’t warm enough for pool to be opened. Checking in was a blast... the lady had a great sense of humor.
Good location. Property is in generally good condition. The complimentary breakfast was better than most free hotel breakfasts. The only negative is that part of the bathroom needed repair and the lobby computers/printers didn't work very well.
They accept pets and have a reasonably stocked kitchen area, no corkscrew however nor access to one. Had to go buy one. My fault though cuz who would expect a Joel to have one!

Traveling with all your cold weather equipment with you can be bulky and costly, depending on your choice of transportation. If you forgot some necessary equipment, check out REI Store or Dicks Sporting Goods for ski boots, a coat, and other outerwear. They may have better deals than the typical mountain rentals. After you have made all the necessary purchases, you and your family will be ready to head up the mountain. Hopefully you will get to ski on an epic bluebird powder day, or a morning when there has been a fresh snowfall. You'll be thrilled once you feel the snow on the nose of your skis and the wind in your hair as you fly down the gradients. If you need some help as you start your shredding, even just one lesson can go a long way in getting the most of your ski trip.
Once you get to your room, ask the front desk about other possible excursions to try out in Salt Lake City. There may be some kid-friendly ideas, like checking out the local bowling alley or movie theater, playing board games at the hotel, or roasting s'mores over a bonfire. They might be able to give you some kid-free options as well, like an on-site spa, a dance club in the city, or a ski-in bar. And when your night is over, you will have amenities in your hotel room that you can take advantage of, like a mini-bar or a movie. What are you waiting for? Your ski-cation is just one hill climb away!
