This is luxury top floor fully remodeled 2 bedroom apartment just 167 feet from the boardwalk and the beach in San Diego’s premier beach destination, Mission Beach. The apartment is on the top floor of a three story building. The floors are hardwood. The appliances, furniture, electronics, linens and artwork are all brand new.
This is a 14 unit, three story apartment building. It features a gated yard for relaxation and sitting in the sun complete with a shared BBQ.
Take advantage of our kitchen for meals, or venture out and sample some awesome San Diego restaurants during your stay here! Start the morning off right with some coffee in the kitchen, or pick up coffee at one of the numerous neighborhood coffee stands and walk two blocks to the beach for a stroll as you watch the surf.
We are 167 Feet from San Diego's most iconic beach. Have a hamburger or get a scoop of ice cream. Talk a walk or learn to surf, maybe rent a bike. It’s all right there at your doorstep. Groceries, Restaurants and Microbreweries are all around. Of course, you will have access to our communal BBQ grill, and it's always a good time to cook out.
After lunch, head back home and take a nap on a cozy couch or one of the high end beds.
If you like shopping, you are virtually 10-20 minutes from any destination in the greater San Diego Metro area. I would suggest starting with the cool little shops a couple blocks away.
For Touristy stuff... well, the beach is two blocks away. Step out on the sidewalk and look west. It's that blue thing where the land ends. SeaWorld is a five minute drive. The World Famous San Diego Zoo is a ten minute drive away. Disneyland is a ninety minute drive.

High School Graduation Trip
Came to San Diego to celebrate our son’s HS graduation with our adult children. Perfect location with enough places to eat without having to drive. House was clean and comfortable! My only gripe would be the lady next door. There isn’t any sort of balcony off of this particular unit and the first day my son and husband were looking off the common walkway and apparently her dog barks if somebody is standing there.. she made a comment about us staying on ‘our side’, so we just avoided her for the rest of the trip and made sure not to walk across the top-most sidewalk. This had nothing to do with the management, just a lady who seems put out with having a rental next door. Also, while these units were on their best behavior, others surrounding were not always, but that just comes with the territory of staying on Mission Beach. I would 100% recommend the place, and we would rent again!

Perfect place!
We absolutely loved our stay! The unit was clean and comfortable. Beds comfy. Shower was great, had tons of hot water and water pressure. Easy to find. Walking distance to the beach. Walking distance to coffee shops and great restaurants. The owner was very polite and gave us some great recommendations for things to do during our stay. We loved it. Definitely recommended!

Enjoyed our stay at Mission beach condo
Condo was as described and very nice. Doug our host was very responsive to any question we had. Pros: location. This place is literally steps to the ocean/ boardwalk with plenty to do and see. Close to restaurants and Ralphs grocery store. We enjoyed our morning walks on ocean boardwalk as well as the bay. We took bus two blocks away to trolley and on to gas lamp quarters and padres game Very convenient . Place was clean and definitely updated and decorated well As listing said parking is tight but we had no issues getting a spot under complex each time we left. Place was stocked well with towels, soap, dishes, glasses and even some condiments in fridge. Beds were comfy. For the cons. Being we traveled into town would be nice if there were beach chairs to use. There was one chair and a few boogie boards and a small cooler in the closet which was nice but would have been nice if a few more chairs were available to use to watch the beautiful sunsets. There were some communal boogie boards and sand toys in the common space but we didn’t see any chairs The AC. Even though there is a AC it doesn’t really blow cold air. We were there during a heat wave but the AC was basically useless. By our last night the weather broke and having the fans on and windows open kept the place cool. Last con was that on last night we got a knock on door from a renter looking to check into place apparently there was some confusion with this person’s booking but none the less a little unsettling. After this renter got Doug on phone they went away, but hope they found a place to stay. Overall place was fine and would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic Time
Place was very clean. Great location! Doug was very responsive in getting us checked in a little early. He was super easy to reach which is so important when you have questions and not too familiar with area. Parking was explained could be an issue, but fortunately for us we had no issues at all. If you aren’t quite sure where to stay and considering this location it is a great property and you couldn’t ask for a better host.

Great beach location!
As listed. Very short walk to the beach, short walk to the bay. Plenty of walkable places to eat. The unit was clean and comfortable. We would recommend, but renters should be aware the unit is on the third floor and there is no elevator. We had a great time, loved the location, and would definitely stay again. The owner was very responsive to questions. Overall a great property to have a beach getaway.

Excellent location! Loved walking down the boardwalk every morning for coffee and every night for the sunset. So many options for food in any direction. Would stay here again if we return to the area in the future. We do wish communication about certain issues would have been addressed. Messages sent to us seemed like canned responses. Not an individual person replying.

Perfect spot for small family get away!
This property was perfect for our family of 3. Top pros for us were: proximity to beach, parking spot, and quiet atmosphere. The property was clean, comfortable, and within walking distance of tons of local cafes/restaurants. The beach area was clean and not overcrowded. We were grateful for the sandcastle building toys and boogie boards provided!

My family of four stayed here for several days and nights. The place has every single thing that you could possibly need, plus several things you didn’t know you needed! Kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, pots, pans, and silverware. The appliances are all newer models and very clean. The bathroom is stocked with any supplies you might need. The bedrooms have both bath and beach towels, and some awesome boogie boards in the closets. The beds are incredibly comfortable! The best part of all-The beach can been seen from your kitchen window, and is only a 45 second walk away!

We enjoyed our time at this property. The location is amazing just steps away from the beach. The host provided great tips for restaurants. The beds were SO comfortable. It was handy to have Laundry going during our stay. The parking spots are tight off the alley but there was always one available for us. The kitchen is spacious but not outfitted for big cooking. This property had everything we needed for a great vacation in Mission Beach!

The host was friendly. The property is about a 1 minute walk to the beach/boardwalk. The place was clean and functional. Plenty of towels which is good for the beach. Laundry machine and dryer worked great. Parking was not a problem for us but I would rent a small car as some of the spots are very tight. The place has about 8 parking spots and you can park in any open spot. You can see the beach/ocean from the small window in the kitchen or you could just walk outside. The other residents that me met at this condo complex were nice. There were about 3 or 4 boogie boards and a bunch of buckets and shovels for community use. Internet/wifi was good. Both bedrooms have a tv and the living room has a tv. Netflix was on. My kids used it a bit.

Great place to stay!
We enjoyed the property. It was clean and close to the beach. The beds were all comfortable and it was nice to sleep with the windows open and feel the cool ocean breeze. Being on the top floor was an added bonus. We also liked having the outdoor shower to wash the sand of our feet before going back to the room. The bathroom was a little small for us (as a family of 5) and the tub didn't drain very fast which left us standing in a pool of water by the end of our shower. Other than that, everything was great. We would definitely recommend.
