"This is a beautifully appointed apartment in the city center. The apartment is comfortable and close to everything. We appreciated the contactless check in (we found this rare in Italy), well stocked kitchen, and reliable WiFi. The only issue we had was that we were asked to dispose of our own trash, however all trash receptacles around San Gimignano require an access card. We travelled by car, so we took our trash to the next stop on our itinerary but this is not optimal."

"We loved our stay. The hotel had really nice breakfasts included and the pool was fantastic after a hot day walking around the old city. We had a standard room and we were expecting it to be small. It was very small - it was difficult to find space for our cases and the shower was so small that it was hard to use it without banging your elbows. The room did include a nice outdoor balcony which made up for the super small room. The hotel was an easy walk into the old city."

"Lovely villa and property manager; disappointing customer service in the UK. Sadly no view of the vineyards from eating area and no comfy sofas on the other outside sitting area as shown in photos. Extremely high final clean cost - much more than I have ever been charged before for similar sized properties. "

"You could not ask for anything more from this Tuscan villa. Absolutely lovely restored farmhouse with every amenity required and the photographs really do not do it justice. The location is perfect with a fifteen minute walk up to San Gimignano with absolutely stunning views of the town from the pool and the rear terrace. Alessandro was the perfect host and was always available for advice and help. We really had a lovely family week stay at the property."

The room accommodations and beds are very comfortable, but the AC had trouble keeping up with the 90 degree days…especially with a mezzanine sleeping space. Regardless, we had a wonderful time.

"This hotel is not family or vacation friendly. This is for a local tourist that’s traveling with a backpack. There are about 80 stairs to get to your room, so take that into consideration for every time you have to go back to your room. There is also no air conditioning and the owner told us just keep your windows open. That was also not doable with the noise outside and all the birds that would fly inside bc there are no curtains or nets on windows. We went in may-June and it was cool outside but very very hot in the room so I can’t imagine staying here when hot outside. There is also parking but about a mile away and all uphill to go to this hotel. It was torture staying here with kids and when we asked to change room the person in charge was very rude. "
"Lovely place with wonderful staff. I use a cane and was a bit worried about the walk into the centre but it was a nice experience and good to have a five minute walk after dinner.
I paid for a little extra for a deluxe room with balcony in the main building and the view was great. "
