This hotel is very clean, offers a great breakfast and is in an excellent location.

We expected more.

Beautiful room let down by the small details. Things like a tiny garbage minibar fridge which doesn't actually keep anything even to room temperature cool, only having two paper coffee cups and two coffee capsules provided in the room for 3 days, and a 20€ per person per day surcharge just to use the swimming pool. Didnt try the breakfast, luckily we waited to see it in the morning before paying - Ive had much better in backpacker hostels. I'm surprised by the overall stinginess in a supposedly 4 star hotel. The room - yes, 4 stars. But by pinching pennies at every opportunity (seriously, not even proper coffee cups or spoons??) it feels exploitative and the overall experience is more like 1.5 stars. Management needs a wakeup call.

Exceptional Stay in the Heart of Venice We stayed at Palazzo Dei Fiori by Room Mate (early August 2026) in the Girasole apartment, and the entire experience far exceeded our expectations. The Apartment (Girasole) -Space & Layout: The 3-bedroom setup (1 king, 2 double) with 3 private bathrooms provided unmatched comfort and privacy for our group. -Views & Comfort: Beautiful canal views directly from the apartment and effective, climate-controlled air conditioning; an absolute necessity during an August stay in Venice. -Location: Perfectly situated in the city center, offering quiet surroundings while remaining just a short walk from the Grand Canal. Service & Hospitality -Seamless Arrival: Check-in was fast, straightforward, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. -Attentive Staff: The front desk team was consistently available, proactive, and genuinely eager to assist at every turn. -Coordination & Local Insight: They handled our airport transfers flawlessly, arranged seamless transport to the neighboring islands, and pointed us to fantastic local dining spots that made our trip memorable. Palazzo Dei Fiori delivered top-tier accommodations, prime location, and world-class service. We would rebook without hesitation!!
