"Whilst I appreciate that the hotel is a beautiful old building, there are areas which need small things doing that would make the building perfect, such as painting over worn paintwork and replacing worn carpet on the stairs. The service at the hotel was very good. The room was lovely and very old and needed a small amount of repairs to the paint on walls and cracked tiles in the bathroom. The breakfast was just ok. I don't understand in a hotel of this standard why you have to pay an extra £6 for some breakfast items that weren't even anything special. Also the pastries, juices etc weren't replenished regularly so if anyone went for breakfast a bit later there wasn't much to choose from. The hotel is in a great location right in the heart of the village and next to Blenheim Palace."

"Super clean room, very helpful and friendly staff, they were amazing throughout. Breakfast was one of the best I’ve had honestly. And bar is area is just amazing, think of it as something out the books. Pool and spa access was included with robes and slippers and towels given free of charge."
