“Our room was clean and comfortable but showing its age. Although it had been freshened up, the TV was quite old and picture quality was SD when these days one might expect HD. Similarly the light above the bathroom mirror was not even LED and when we found the pull cord it was dim and and only illuminated several years of dust. The bed was very comfortable. “The accommodation is lovely, but incredibly difficult to get hold of any of the staff. I was left on hold for an hour until I could speak to somebody about checking in as they had not sent the check-in details.
I lost a pair of trousers at this property. They emailed me to say they had found them and I’d need to send them £30 to get them sent back to me. I then received another email from them saying that they had not found the trousers and they would send me £20 as a gesture of goodwill since……
