"The Kona Kai is centrally located along Periwinkle Way and is close to dining, shopping and the beaches. The entire property, both inside and outside, were very clean and well maintained. Check in was simple and the staff were helpful with questions. Room rates were reasonable. This is our new "go to" place for lodging on Sanibel Island."

"The front desk staff is a bit disengaged and not a lot of initiative. Had to remind one young lady to be sure our wrist bands were activated. On a different visit had ask a different young lady if she intended to advise when the room was ready. "

"Beautiful location. Quiet and right on the beach. Staff was friendly and helpful. We had a super soggy bed the first night and they replaced the mattress for us the next day. Having access to bikes to go to town was great! Pool was also wonderful with food and bar. We will be back! "
