“This was our second stay at Driftwood Inn and we enjoyed it as much this time as the last! Property is immaculately cleaned, comfortable and has everything we need. The beach is a short walk away and the included cart, umbrellas and beach chairs make it easy to enjoy your time relaxing in the sun. Highly recommend this property for your beach time!”

“I think the next time we would choose a location, a little further back into the facility. Although it was very quiet, we did have an air-conditioning vent in the bathroom at the base of the toilet for some reason and the last morning we were there the television would not turn on. Other than that, the pool was clean the towels were fresh. The people at the counter were very helpful.”

“The room was a good size, with a fridge and microwave. Having a guide for the TV channels was helpful. There are so many good points--great location right on the beach, a tiki bar, hammocks, and an on-site restaurant. We enjoyed every minute we were here--the staff made us feel like we were very much appreciated guests.”

“We thought the hotel was perfect. We frequent sanibel. Staying in almost a different place everytime. This place is definelty not the cheapest. But everything was on point. Clean beautiful. My kids really appreciated the kayak and paddle boards. So did their grandmother actually. We will be back again some day.”

“I stayed at this property with my husband for almost a week. Super quick walk to the beach from our room and the hotel provides chairs and umbrellas. Our favorite amenity was the bikes that they let you check out. We rode the bikes all over the Island and it was wonderful. The staff refreshed our towels every day while we were out so that was really nice to come back to. The only negatives are that there was only 1 mirror in the room and it was in the bathroom and the TV was hard to navigate at……

“The rooms were lovely and well appointed. The linens were not soft, but the beds were clean and the mattress was very comfortable. The lounge chairs have no cushions and it made it difficult to spend time at the pool sunning. I was told by the manager they have been ordered. The rooftop could use more furniture aside from two benches. All in all, it was a fun few days despite cloudy weather and a drizzly day. No fault of the Shalimar Resort.”

“The resort was very nice and we enjoyed the location , room was clean and ready for early check in. The down of the resort is parking , the parking is not directly near your room and because they have a restaurant there sometimes it gets full. The other thing is that in our room the shades let the light come in and no curtains to prevent it. So if you plan to sleep is a bit hard . No phone in room so make sure to take your chargers.. Everything else was great ! 👍”

“We stayed in room 1208. Ocean front. Large balcony with table and chairs and two lounge chairs. Very clean. If I had any complaint it would be the water pressure was low, but I doubt the hotel was to blame for that. Highly recommend.”
