The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and it had all expected amenities including a mini fridge and microwave. Parking was available right outside of the room, and the lobby and grounds were well kept. The location is great, about a mile outside of downtown Santa Cruz so groceries, restaurants and shops are very accessible. Staff was very friendly and professional. They have a restaurant and bar onsite but I did not eat there. Overall I am very happy with the accommodations and price. The only down side was the traffic noise as the hotel is right next to a major highway. Obviously this is no fault of the hotel and management, and I’m a light sleeper so I’m probably bothered by this more than most.
