The garden suite was wonderful as was the entire property. So unique, peaceful and an excellent viewing of the stars from the lookout site. But what stood out though was the fantastic service from Paulo, Johnny and Luis and everyone else, who treated us as if we were the most important people in the world. This is truly an unforgettable space and team!

Friendly staff, excellent coffee, lovely pools. Cons: No beach development, food selection at specialty dining does not change. Avoid the Japanese restaurant sushi. Suggestion - Allow Rui Palace guests dinner access to restaurants on the Riu Guanacaste sister resort.

Had a great stay. Quiet place with a beautiful beach. A couple of good restaurants within walking distance. A special shout out to Aurelio at front desk who went above and beyond to help us plan excursions. 4 star is due to no functioning hot water during our 5 day stay while they did try fixing it. Thankfully it was very hot outside.
