Summer getaway

The property was just as advertised. We had multiple families joining us and had enough space to enjoy our time together. The kids loved the pool and the slide and we also loved the short distance to the beach. We caught sunset every night and explored the island with the free trolly service.

Excellent property

This was the perfect property for our large group in town for a lacrosse tournament. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms as well as kitchen and living space to accommodate all 19 of us. Just a very short walk to the beach, and a pool and hot tub to enjoy at the property. The checkin and checkout process was quick and simple, and we had excellent communication with the property management company before and during our stay. We had a couple questions that were addressed very promptly. We’d absolutely stay here again.

Family time

This house is close to the beach, well maintained, and wonderful for larger families. 2 dishwashers for those who like to eat in and cook! Kids loved the pool and adults the hot tub!

Great Stay

We had a lovely stay at Island Sol. Everything was top notch, clean, well cared for, fully equipped. It was a 10 out of 10! Would definitely come back again. Also, amazingly, you can actually call the management and get to talk to a real person!

House layout great but lacked necessities

Great layout…. House for 22 has only one small refrigerator, we called about getting another as many reviews mentioned additional fridges in the garage areas. They have two dishwashers, two washing machines and dryers. Not an extra towel or blanket to be found, not one pool toy…. We rent a large house every year for the 4th week for the last 22 years, never have we rented one as sparse with extras. That being said, the property mgmt did address our concerns on other issues. The bugs/mosquitos were so bad we couldn’t use the pool area or decks as much as we would have liked. House is an easy walk to the beach. Pool area is great but only two lounge chairs, again with a large house we expected more.

Thanksgiving Holiday with the family

We had a great time. The property was large enough for my entire family and and along with the pool, ping pong table, pool table, putting green, etc we had plenty of activities. I thought the neighbor's sign about noise was a little annoying but everything else was fantastic.

Perfect location for Florida vacation

The property is very big, very luxurious and has an amazing view from the roof top to beach and bay. The house is clean, the furniture really nice! Upon arrival, the owner prepared some food, wine and beer which was very good after the long journey. The beach is just 3 minutes to go! A lot of restaurants can be reached within 5 minutes, several Golf courses in 15 minutes. The island is beautiful, Florida as its best!

Beautiful house with lots to do

The house is the perfect layout so multiple families can enjoy time together and time on their own. The amenities are great. Enough dishes, glasses, utensils, pans, outside activities, towels, beach chairs, indoor seating. Beds are comfortable. Close to the beach, lots of parking. Management was responsive but couldn’t always fix what we asked for right away. We had a great week.

Great house! Needs a few tweaks

We enjoyed the house! The location and layout and amenities were perfect for our large group. The temp in the house varied greatly. One bedroom was ice cold and the others were warm. There needs to be more towels in the kitchen- one hand towel and one washcloth are not enough. The pool was very cloudy and needed service multiple times during our stay. Overall a great place- just needs a few details for the price.

Great house!

House was great. Everyone enjoyed the stay. FYI, there is nothing there for seasonings or foil or other paper products. Very limited supplies. The spa did not work for almost 4 days, but finally fixed. They were quick to respond, but not quick to fix. Having two washers and dryers and two dishwashers was definitely a plus, made lots of meals at home. We were family of 19 ages from 6-72. Great stay other than the fix 😊 thank you!

Amazing House and Rooftop views

We had such a great time staying in this property! The location of the house is amazing, just steps To the beach and pier. So many other things within just walking distance or you can hop on a free trolley at any point. There is a street in front of the house that can get noisy at times. The house is amazing and so tall, on the rooftop you are the tallest house on the island and the views are stunning. Rooftop firepit table was such a neat feature. Amazing windows and views everywhere you turn. Would recommend AMI add blackout curtains (not just the existing shades) to the bedrooms for vacationers that enjoy sleeping in! They provided 12 beach chairs and 4 bikes which was great. I thought the pool would be too small but it was plenty big for our group of 16! Would definitely stay here again!

Highly recommend

We had the best time during our stay! The check-in and checkout process was extremely easy. Everything was clean and just as described in the listing. The cornhole boards, ping pong table, pool table, and of course the pool gave us more than enough things to do for our entire family. The beach is extremely close and accessible, which was nice for small children who needed to take breaks back at the house. There is a second refrigerator, pool floats, and beach toys/wagon in the garage that were all very handy! It also has a half bath outside by the pool that I believe may not be listed in the rental details. There were only very minor maintenance issues when we got there that were addressed very quickly and we had no issues during our stay. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone looking to take a large group. We would definitely choose this place again!

Perfect house with bedroom setup for our group

The property itself is perfect. The outdoor area is the beat place to be. The kitchen could be better stocked. There was plenty of pots & pans, However could have used some pot holders, bake wear like a 9x13 baking dish & of course 1 full length mirror in the Master (which we have asked in the past). We would love to rent for 2021, but the price has gone up so drastically, this house is now out of our range. We have rented the last 2 years, but had to find another house for our 2021 trip. Some beach chairs need replaced due to rusting, but overall, we do love this house for our large group

Overall Great House for Large Group

Overall, the property was great. A few items for future travelers: the beds were incredibly noisy, not the headboards but the actual mattresses in several of the rooms. Even the kids who normally sleep through anything complained of it. This was really the only thing that would stop me from renting this property again. One of the washing machines was broken and reported, but it was never repaired. Finally , the outside refrigerators could stand some cleaning. Thankfully we were there when the housekeepers were leaving and caught them as we were unloading items. Positives - the pool area is amazing! The rooftop and front porches are so nice and the location in an easy walk to the beach.

Guys - the elevator!

The listing title doesn't lie - THIS IS THE ONE!! This house was absolutely amazing. We had 9 adults (4 couples and 1 single) and plenty of room to spare. Everyone had their own king and bath. 4 levels of outdoor space. The pool & hot tub heated quickly and waterslide was a blast. Pong table, pool table, grill w/ gas, putting green with putters and balls... The house has 9 Tommy Bahama chairs in like-new condition (the kind with built-in coolers and back pack straps), a beach wagon, a ton of beach towels and a couple floats. Beach is a 3 sec walk from the front door. Ignore the reviews of missing potholders and 9x13 pans. The kitchen has that and MUCH MORE incl both drip & kcup machines and a blender. There was enough Dawn for our trip (travel size provided), but plan to bring dishwasher soap, garbage bags, sugar and S&P. A bar of soap and 2 TP rolls per bath provided. If we had to find a complaint, it would be about the alarmed doors leading to the pool (which cannot be disarmed, but don't buzz if used properly). Great for a house with children, not great for a house full of tipsy, forgetful adults. Amazing stay, house was impeccably cleaned and furnished. Couldn't want for more. Oh, and the elevator makes packing & unpacking a breeze.

Pool was disappointing - should be fixed asap!

Overall the house and area are great destinations to vacation. For future guests please request a record of the repairs and review other guests experiences before you go. For us the size house and pool were huge draws for our family reunion in February. Knowing the ocean would be too cold to swim, we were looking forward to the hot tub and pool. Unfortunately the pool was not heated and the hot tub never got above 71. We called the property management company everyday and a pool different technician came each day. We were told that they have had calls about the pool before, in recent weeks. SO the problem was a known issue. Additionally, e time the pool heater would try to kick on, it would knock the power out in the house. We reset the Wi-Fi for the TV many times. Finally on Thursday I got a text that a new pool heater would be delivered Friday, the day before we left. As of Saturday, the new pool heater was still sitting in the garage of the house. Also the 2nd dishwasher is very convenient for 19 people, but it leaks, so beware of that. The other issue is the ice maker in the butler/bar area does not work. We bought ice and kept coolers, and filled the ice maker as needed. The kitchen could use a couple extra pot holders and kitchen towels. We found 1 of each in the kitchen. Have you cooked and cleaned for 20 people using only 1 single towel and pot holder?? The kitchen also needs a 9x13 casserole dish for baking group meals. Our family bought extra towels and pot holders, and disposable casserole tins. It worked out, but these small items are recommended for the home owner to have on hand. Overall our family had a memorable experience and may plan another destination reunion in the future, but I will definitely be more aware of things to check into. The property management was great to handle pre-trip amenities and rentals, and listened to our complaints, it’s just unfortunate that we didn’t get to use the pool, and hot tub. For the cost of the week, these problems should never happen, or addressed immediately by the owner. We have not been offered compensation for the lack of a huge draw, an amenity we paid for.

Awesome place!

This home was everything we expected. We had 14 people and still had extra bedrooms. Our young grandchildren spent many hours in the pool. It was heated and had several depths of water for every age. It was a 1 minute walk to beautiful Bradenton beach. Home was very clean and showers were excellent with plenty of hot water to go around. I highly recommend this home to anyone searching for a beautiful rental for many people.

Great home for all to enjoy with great outdoor area, close to beach, and plenty of space.

Property was well designed, nicely decorated, and great flow with plenty of parking for multiple families. Beach chairs and wagons were a bonus and the pool is great. Tables both inside and outside so everyone could enjoy. Games, kitchen dishes, kitchen utensils, and glasses/mugs were more than enough. Two dishwashers, 2 washer/dryers, mini refrig, full refrigerator, and an ice maker made cooking, entertaining, and cleaning dishes a breeze. Would definitely stay here again.
