Our stay was wonderful at this beautiful bed and breakfast. The location was great - right across the street from the beautiful Forysth Park. Our room was comfortable and gorgeous. Tastefully furnished. On the first floor so very convenient. Gary and Dwayne were so nice and accommodating to make our stay comfortable. It was all about the southern charm. The breakfast each morning was delicious, and we especially liked eating out on the veranda. Little extras like the wine and a snack each night as well as a little desert was a nice touch. Highly recommend this beautiful house. It will not disappoint you.

My husband and I enjoyed every aspect of our trip. The property is stunning and very historic. It is across the street from Forsyth Park and walking distance to a lot of places. The staff were so friendly and it truly felt like a home away from home. The breakfast there was delicious and the added bonus of happy hour and dessert at night was wonderful. Coffee, tea, sweet tea and water wete accessible all day. We will define be back.

My sister and I stayed at the inn for one night and we were immediately impressed from the moment we stepped foot in the door. We were greeted by the most charming and hospitable staff. Our bags were brought up to our room while we spoke to the concierge. The concierge gave us maps and a whole run down of the city. He spoke to us about our dining options and gave us recommendations. The inn itself is beautiful. It feels like stepping back in time. The room was spotless and cozy. The air conditioning was amazing for respite from thar hot Georgia air. From 5-6 there is social hour for the guests to enjoy wine and treats. You can take your wine out to the porch and enjoy the beautiful view of the park. At night, dessert and drinks are there for guests to enjoy and serve themselves. We took our tea out on the porch and watched the bats fly by while listening to the crickets. It felt like a movie! I would recommend for anyone coming to Savannah to stay at the Forsyth Inn! If ever I am back in town, I will be staying there again.

The staff here are wonderful. You can’t get much better than being located on Forsyth Park. I loved sitting on the porch relaxing and enjoying the views of the park. Easy to walk around and easy street parking. This place is a gem and the people who run it make it even more special.

My 6 night stay at Forsyth Park Inn was nothing short of amazing! The staff were friendly and charming. Breakfasts every day were delicious with clear attention to detail put into every plate. The historic Inn if filled with endless charm. Room 8 was lovely and the private balcony accessible by a large roller window was such a wonderful bonus to our stay. Literally a few steps from the beautiful Forsyth Park you can’t ask for a better location in Historic downtown. I can’t wait to be able to stay here again in the future and highly recommend this Inn to anyone who loves historic lodging options or just wants a change of pace from cookie cutter corporate chain hotels.

The home was a beautiful old Savannah home, exactly what you would expect of a great Bed & Breakfast. Located directly across from Forsyth Park, breakfast on the covered veranda was lovely with that view. The room was spacious and the bed was large and comfortable!

No doubt, authentic and historic was evident throughout. Regretfully, I found our room (7) to be in need of a redo. Fabrics and colors were dingy and old and quite “heavy” in appearance. The style and size of the room was impressive. However, it was tired looking and although not dirty, it didn’t feel fresh. The bathroom claw foot tub was sweet to look at but unsafe to shower in. There was no place for one’s soap and the base of the tub was slippery. I particularly am drawn to charming Bed and breakfasts. A year ago, I stayed at the Bellwether in Savannah. It, too, is an old building however, it was fresh. Breakfast here was rather basic. Scrambled eggs and grits and a fruit cup and biscuit. Generally, breakfasts at B & B’s are impressive. The location was wonderful. It sits on a corner across the street from Savannah’s largest park. The people working there were very polite, welcoming and nice.

Historic home with uniquely furnished rooms, located next to the large Forsyth Park. Only a mile from the popular river walk area. The staff were friendly and helpful. The daily breakfast was freshly prepared and very delicious. Highly recommend this unique B&B.

We loved staying at the Forsyth Park Inn. We booked room 1. There was some street noise at night, but nothing that I needed earplugs for. It seemed a quiet street for the most part. I slept all night with no interruptions. Location is convenient! The DOT free bus stops right outside the house. It’s also an easy and slightly lengthy walk down to River Street from the Inn. The park is lovely with lots of families and couples enjoying the sun. We did encounter a few homeless there, but they were courteous. I liked the location and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Parking was always easy to find right outside the house. Breakfasts were delicious and more than I could eat! Water, coffee, and iced tea provided 24 hrs. Appetizers, wine and dessert each evening. Staff were all friendly, happy and helpful!! Room was spotless! Bed comfy. Really a darling old mansion and we would recommend staying here for a quiet relaxing retreat!
