Great location for walking around savannah!

Posted Feb 11, 2016
The hotel is in a historic area so you have to expect it to be an old building the ac is loud in the room but other than that we loved our room. It was very spacious and nicely updated bathroom. The hotel staff is wonderful and we really enjoyed the bottles of water and pralines left in the room.

Tourist Trip to Savannah GA

Posted Feb 7, 2016
Pros: Riverside Inn Hotel convenient to all activities staff very pleasant and helpful.
Cons: Fifth floor room could use some redecorating.
Location: Convenient and interesting
Our trip was most enjoyable touring museums, art galleries, historical homes, and national parks. Fort Pulaski is in beautiful condition along with a delightful and informative staff. We used the Trolley tour, it was reasonably priced, clean and with informative staff. We also used DOT bus system free of cost. Limited number of local youth on bus less impressive being vulgar, other passengers very helpful and pleasant.

Beautiful hotel with an amazing history.

Posted Jan 31, 2016
Pros: Historic feel, modern comfort, location, and access to River Street
Cons: Nothing
Location: Next to Tubby's, Huey's & Bernie's Oyster Bar and Grill. All exceptional restaurants to dine at or just have a drink or too before exploring River St
The River Street Inn is located almost dead center of River Street, which makes it an excellent spot to stay on your visit. It has direct access from the Hotel to River Street via an elevator with private access only to River Street Inn visitors. It is beautiful inside and out. The staff are friendly and more than helpful if you need assistance with anything. We'll definitely be back.

Converted 1800's warehouse on the river

Posted Jan 30, 2016
Comfortable rooms. Ours had a balcony over River Street with a great view. A historic building circa 1817 I think. Nice wooden floors and antiques. Parking is in the public lot across the street.

Love my stay everytime I stay!

Posted Jan 27, 2016
The stay was nice as ever. Great greeting, great help with the bellboy, questions answered, room nice and comfey, bed soft with no signs of bed bugs, and to top it off, they have complimentary wine in the evening. And of course you're right there at River Street. Just walk down and you're at one of the mail attractions of Savannah. I always love my stay at RiverStreet Inn. There's no other place for me in Savannah.

Historic character with a romantic ambience effect

Posted Jan 26, 2016
First time staying @ River Street Inn for a two night weekend and we will be going back. Friendly staff each day and excellant service! The queen room Is quaint with plenty of space, comfortable high frame bed, a nice granite shower bathroom and a beautiful river front view. Enjoyed watching the tug boats, lg barges and ferrys passing through. It's not just your typical hotel place to stay. Very unique in many ways. It was a cold weekend In Jan, but we had a wonderful visit! Also, would highly recommend Huey's, Tubby's and the Pirate House Restaurants.
