We arrived around 12:30 a.m. The entrance looked nice and matched the photos on Google, but unfortunately the rooms were nothing like what was advertised.
The hallways had no air conditioning, making them hot and humid, and the carpet throughout the hallway had multiple stains. The elevator was covered in smudges, giving it a dirty appearance. Once we got to our room, we found stained bed sheets and stained carpet. To make matters worse, there was no bar soap or shampoo provided.
I went downstairs to ask the front desk if housekeeping had simply forgotten to restock the room. The manager explained they had recently changed ownership, their supply order had been delayed, and they had completely run out of soap and shampoo. When I mentioned the stained bedding, she told me their washing machine wasn’t cleaning the sheets properly, which was the reason for the stains.
At that point, I had enough and requested a different room. The manager did accommodate the request, but then asked me to bring the original key cards back to the front desk around 1:00 a.m., after I had already made two trips downstairs.
The online reviews were very positive, and the hotel is listed as a four-star property, which is typically what I look for when traveling. Unfortunately, this stay did not reflect that rating. I would be cautious about booking this hotel, especially if you’re traveling with family.
