The beds were clean. The room was clean. But the bathrooms made the stay feel borderline nasty due to the rust in the tub, the worn-down tub enamel, the splintered/rotted wood, and a multicolored stained towel—but perhaps this is standard for Days Inn. The water pressure, however, was fine, and the water was satisfactorily hot.
The front desk associate during my check-in was exceptionally good. She was very attentive and friendly. But that impression of good customer service was subsequently erased by the way we were treated by the staff upon accidentally sleeping in 30 minutes past checkout (regular, not late checkout time), where we were barraged with banging on the door, yelling, and a call asking if we were staying another night (this is 30 minutes past normal checkout, not even late checkout). This was the antithesis of customer service. I erroneously expected more from Wyndham (whom until now I had associated with upscale venues), but I suppose they are now synonymous with motels.
That said, it's perfect if you just need a place to sleep that is clean and inexpensive, and you can handle potentially not being treated like a valued customer.
