We loved the nostalgia of this hotel. The lobby is well appointed and the rooms are wonderful. We got in late and ordered room service, which was delicious!

Night desk clerk was amazing, first room was clean visually but found a bed bug crawling on top of the bed. Night clerk was informed and bug was shown, she took a picture of it then switched us rooms. Second room was visually clean but as we inspected for bugs found dead bugs and food under the mattresses. Next morning asked housekeeper to change the sheets and clean under the mattresses, she wasn’t too ecstatic and said well she would have maintenance help her. After returning to our room the beds were just made back up with existing sheets but under the mattresses were cleaned.
