“Nice clean hotel! Interior(Lobby, hallway, rooms) is a little dated, but well kept. Will stay again”

“The stay went well overall except for the front desk lady working the early shift, very rude. We requested an extended check out and it seemed to upset her for some reason. Was really rude to my son that tried to talk to her. She also followed us outside as an intimidating tactic because we were arranging our bags into the car. Came outside with her phone and just kept looking at us like she was filming, taking pictures.”

“Shower needs a good scrub there was built up soap scum all over the walls and on the floor. Beds ere a little harder than we liked. And pool closing at 9pm was a downer for we traveled for 13 hrs and was looking forward to setting in the hot tub. ”

“Room was clean, had no issues, could use some upgrades. We did not eat breakfast so no comment. Overall it was ok.”

“There was no ice in the ice machine, we had no services the whole time we stayed there, had to go the front desk and ask for toilets, the parking lot was trashed , had roaches crawling in the bathroom and sleeping area and in the fridge. I was bad staying there”

“It was a mixed bag. The hotel has a dark, small, unappealing entrance and foyer, and after checking in, you have to walk by the closed pool (which was half empty with murky black-green water), in order to get to the rooms. It gave us an uncomfortable feeling. The first room we were given had a disgusting tub/shower with about a 10-inch area of rust around the drain and black, moldy caulk and grout. We were given another room when asked, though a king bed was not available. The second room was……

“Breakfast was fresh. Our room wasn’t ready until 5:00 pm. ”

“This hotel used to be a Red Roof Inn and is going through renovations, so it currently has a lot of construction. We were here for the George Strait concert, so I didn't mind the elevated price. I don't know how much an overnight stay usually costs. It is an older hotel, but it was clean and adequate for our needs.”

“The shower curtains had spots of black mold on them. The duvets had stains on them as if they didn’t even wash them. The wash rags looked dirty hotels use white so they can bleach these things but this hotel apparently does not. There is an older short lady with glasses that is very rude but the other staff members were very pleasant. The breakfast was not cooked thoroughly. This scrambled eggs, of course come in a bag, but they just dumped them in there with the crap ton of water still in the……

“This hotel sold after I booked it and the new owners said they didn’t forward any reservations. We were in town for a concert and all hotels were booked for a very inflated price. Had to sleep in a car. Expedia should have known this was happening. ”

“The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room and entire hotel smelled like cigarettes and weed. The smoke alarm in our room started going off at one point as people in the rooms near us were smoking inside. The shower water was cold and would not get hot or even warm.”

“The owner of the property canceled all third party reservations due to a popular event. Found out only after attempting to check in after the event at about 11:30 pm. Luckily we were only 2 hours from home, so we made the trek back home. Be aware of this issue.”

“Clean rooms, great breakfast”

“Very worn and run down property right on busy highway. Many things broken such as tiles, shower curtain rod, windows (incl my hotel bedroom window). Around midnight an employee knocked on my door to see if that room was occupied. So much for peaceful sleep. Breakfast was good and staff was friendly but hotel needs major repairs and updates.”

“This place is our favorite when we come to Lubbock. It’s always so clean and they are always friendly and helpful. Rooms are so nice. The plants and fish are an added bonus to it all. Very relaxing.”

“The best thing was the breakfast. Check in was horrible. We arrived at 2 pm hoping we could get in early. We were told to come back at 3 and MAYBE the rooms would be ready. Well, they weren't. We didn't get in until almost 3:45 pm. ”
