Loved the complimentary wine and breakfast

Enjoyed my stay at the lodge and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Stayed on a weekday after a long drive and there are currently no meal options during the week. It would be nice to have had food options on property besides the market across the street.

The lobby and breakfast area are being renovated so all the pictures of the hotel first floor are fake. When we stayed, everyone had to take the breakfast to your room. The hotel and Expedia should notify guests that there is construction going on. It should NOT be a surprise when you arrive.

Good location have stayed here numerous times

I was definitely expecting more for the price and the reviews. The room was old feeling and the sheets and towels were the oldest and most worn out of any I have seen at a stay in years. Just felt shabby. Breakfast was lackluster. Parts of the property itself is really beautiful in a special way. But I didn't have a room in the garden area. The best thing about the place was the staff was really nice.
