Dunollie Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Great stay for our small family with 2 small kids. Check in and out were quick and easy. The room was nice and clean, the beds were big and comfortable and there was plenty of space for the little ones to run/crawl around. We got dinner the first night which was lovely as was the breakfast on both mornings. The staff were excellent throughout, friendly and helpful. It's in a great location to explore Skye and would recommend staying here to anyone. The only thing is if you are driving there isn't a lot of on site parking (especially when 2 buses took up 80% of it!!) however we still found space whenever we got back, there is also parking options nearby so there's really no need to worry."

"The room was clean & comfortable, however it was noisy from car park outside window and from laundry next door. Draft from window, had to keep blind and curtains closed, to keep warm. Disappointed that even after discussing with 2 members of staff on 2 separate occasions, requirements for dog friendly room & eating, in advance of our visit, we were made to feel uncomfortable, when request not initially adhered to. Breakfast was plentiful & tasty first day, second day choice was limited. (little left)"

"This property is a very expensive disappointment. We woke up on our last morning with no heat, no hot water and no staff to contact until 10am after the check out time. Breakfast is cereal boxes and a few loaves of bread on table in a common room. The windows in our ground floor room did not lock on their own so also a safety risk for belongings and guests. We booked as a last resort and paid a lot to stay here. Please don't do the same."
