"Positive- The room was cleaned everyday. The young man was respectful and worked hard. The buffet restaurant had exceptional food. The manager outside in the patio area where the music was performed did an outstanding job, always responding to our requests kindly. Good service with the sack lunches- appreciated that the fruits were washed with filtered water. Negative- Horrible check in reception- waited for the room , 45 minutes, yet did not tell us. They did not tell us anything about the place- did not know about the free restaurants and did not know about the free liquor choices. "

"Second time here. While the rooms are a bit older, location, food, staff, shuttle to SoHo square etc. are on point. Beach is great, soft sand, can walk out 100+ feet to your waist. Sea is warm, pool is big, pool bar is good, restaurants on site are good. Didn’t see many other Canadians (was like 99% Russian guests lol) but I highly recommend! "

"The resort is beautiful with a lovely gardens, a beach and big swimming pools. There were plenty of sun beds when we visited in November 2025. The sea is shallow for a long way, with access to deeper swimming areas and the coral reef from the end of the pontoon. The food is of good quality and there’s a great terrace bar with singers in the evening. On the slightly less positive side, the evening beach party and DJ techno music choices were better suited to a different crowd. Overall the quality of the evening entertainment was moderate. The JAZ resort is a collection of hotels, this was not initially clear. We stayed in the JAZ Beach Hotel but originally booked for the JAZ Park Hotel and then changed the booking after receiving an email advising us on the restrictions associated with the slightly less expensive hotel. From what we saw the JAZ Park Hotel had more children’s entertainment and the JAZ Beach Hotel was more geared towards adults although at the Beach Hotel there was a family restaurant we ate in the adults only restaurant. The bed was very hard but our room was a good size. Overall we enjoyed a great holiday. "
