“The Orca Inn is your budget in if you just want access to the island. The rooms are small and mine seemed to get very hot despite not having the heater on waking me in my sleep. The good thing is that because the rooms are small the AC works fast. The parking lots lights shine through the window and the blinds don't do a great job at keeping that light out. Once the sun comes up it is unbearably hot inside.The host was welcoming and it is conveniently located.”

“The hotel is charming, clean, fabulous location and I loved that looked out to the water. However, our TV didn't work and when I asked the staff if I was doing something wrong, her answer was "some of our TVs don't work" and just shrugged. Not a big deal, but still it was odd and not great customer service because there wasn't even an apology. Also, we stayed 2 nights and although I don't need room service to make beds, they only left enough coffee for one morning and there was only one packet……

“I was terribly disappointed with this accommodation. I had booked a few weeks before and I was struggling to find accommodation so was pleased to see this accommodation was available. We were visiting during peak summer and visiting a very popular location so I expected to pay a premium. This was the most I had ever paid for 3 nights in this type/grade of accommodation. Even using a discount code, we still paid £921 for 3 nights - but I was happy to do that because I wanted to stay at Friday……

“the room was clean but dated as was the entire property, the poor cleaning girl had to call the owner to check in people ( she was not computer savvy ) we felt bad for her she really did her best - the is NO A/C in the rooms just a big old fan thankfully we had a big window that we could leave open ( we were on the 2nd floor, window facing the street ) otherwise I would not feel comfortable leaving it open in the area ... but it was 90 degrees in Anacortes that day ... no early check in at all,……

“It was pretty quiet even though our room was right next to the elevator. The neighborhood feels safe, nice, and clean. It’s conveniently close to grocery stores and restaurants, and not too far from the state park. The only thing I didn’t like was the breakfast—two of the containers were empty with nothing much to eat, and no one came to refill them. So we went out for breakfast nearby. ”

“Nantucket Inn has moved right to the top of our favorite bed and breakfast stays. Check-in was easy and cordial, and we received some excellent restaurant recommendations. Our room was one of the smaller (the smallest?) at the inn, but perfectly adequate for two, and perfectly clean. We had fresh cookies waiting for us on the nightstand. After a quiet, restful night, we enjoyed our best BnB breakfast ever, prepared by the owner/host Jessica, in a lovely communal setting. We wholeheartedly……
