“This inn is a beautifully located, wonderfully quiet and restful location near North Beach, 1 mile away from the shops and restaurants of Eastsound. The Goldfinch Room was lovely with a very comfortable bed. Breakfasts are out of this world! Hostess Jill was lovely and very helpful with everything. Highly recommended!”

“What a beautiful property: clean and good size rooms, very comfortable bed, nice bathrooms, nice breakfast. What a view too! The sea, the gardens, and the deer that come all the way to your front door! Wish we'd planned to stay longer!”

“This is a very cute motel a few minutes from Friday Harbor. We enjoyed the HOT hot tub, yard games, and picnic area. The room was decorated so cute with little extras everywhere from the shower steamers, hot coco/coffee bar, and slippers. We would definitely stay here again!”

“We never got to our room, as we needed a late arrival check-in, and after filling out the paperwork, then calling and messaging the hotel repeatedly, we were never given the code to the key box containing our key. We ended up driving two hours home after midnight instead.”

“The staff was courteous and friendly, and the views from the restaurant were absolutely amazing. The rooms were clean, although they could benefit from some updating and modernization. The food was average and not particularly memorable. That said, it’s important to recognize the hotel’s rural island location, where expectations and available options may be different than at a larger destination. Overall, the property has a lot of potential, especially given the beautiful setting and welcoming……

“The hotel advertises complimentary rollaway beds, which is one of the reasons we booked this property. After checking in, we were told none were available. If rollaway beds are subject to availability, that should be clearly stated in the room description. Advertising them as an included amenity without that clarification is misleading and affected our stay. We understand inventory can be limited, but no alternative accommodation or solution was offered.”
