“Kitchen area unclean. The front desk was not staffed all the time. Weird smell all over. Old mattresses in the back just strewn aside. Dangerous playground. Burn marks on bed covers.”

“The property was dirty. The room was disgusting. The towels need to be thrown in the trash. They smell like dirty floors. It was just a dirty Hotel man who the hell wants to stay in a place like that. I’ll never stay there again. Have a good day.”

“My room was mostly clean (water rings on some of the furniture that were sticky), but overall satisfactory. It was quiet and comfortable. I liked the layout including a sitting area with a desk. The architecture was beautiful (Frank Lloyd Wright). It’s a bit dated, but not awful. Close to Mason City’s downtown which is so quaint and totally walkable. Lots of history and beautiful architecture. I highly recommend if you want to hang out for a day or two.”
