“Adorable old house on side street about 4 blocks from center of Shelburne Falls. Once we arrived, we parked the car and walked to shops, art galleries and restaurants. Surrounded by pretty gardens and flowers. Had coffee, English muffins and toast in the morning. Thanks! Entire town is filled with friendly, happy folks who all seem to know each other. Wonderful. ”

“I wish I had known about this place earlier as my daughter has graduated from University of Massachusetts and is moving away from Amherst, but I highly recommend the black walnut Inn if you’re in Amherst for any reason!!”

“This is a great hotel! Staff is great. Breakfast was fabulous, especially the slow cooked pork tacos. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a view of trees and greenery. Beds were perfect! Indoor pool, gym, laundry facilities are a nice addition. We visited nearby colleges with our daughter. We walked across the street to take the free PVTA bus into Amherst. Shopping mall, Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, Starbucks are across the street. ”
