“My husband and I loved the unique Hotel Laurance. It is so beautiful and well done. Our room had a lovely kitchen, sitting area and bedroom. The building is old, but completely renovated and has no elevator. We did have to walk up a flight of steps to the 2nd floor and then a few steps in front of the door to our room. “Lovely property with quiet, wraparound deck from which to enjoy the wildlife. Lots of birds, deer, and bunny rabbits as well as the cows that came to the fence in the afternoons. We enjoyed the fire pit and JJ filled up the wood pile for us more than we expected! We were looking forward to enjoying the very clean hot tub, but the weather did not cooperate - next time! We were close enough to Shenandoah to hike several days and we explored Luray Caverns one day, so the location is ideal. The……

“Great location to explore the Shenandoah National Forest and Shenandoah Valley for spring break. The size of the house was perfect for our two families. The kids loved their room with twin beds and many games and toys. There was a seat for the baby and a pack and play, as well.Everyone enjoyed having breakfast on the back deck. The kitchen had all the utensils we needed to cook and enjoy meals but we were close enough to Luray to go out for any meals we wanted. It was also nice having toiletries……

“We enjoyed our stay at this property and it was clean, well equipped with all the modern conveniences, and provided a nice alternative to a hotel. It was a good fit for us with our small dog and was a short drive to the places we wanted to visit. We were there for a long weekend and it is along a busy street so the only drawback was the traffic noise during the day.”

“Very cute, Loved the porch for morning coffee. Wish there had been a second bathroom upstairs. At my age, it’s at least a couple trips down the stairs at night. Disappointing that there was no cable or whatever and internet was very slow so couldn’t really use the TV. But maybe it was just us. Didn’t really miss it that much. Would definitely stay again. During the remainder of our trip we kept saying how we miss the porch!”
