Have a meal in the old lodge. It's pricey but worth it!
Leave early. Seattle area traffic is congested most daylight hours.
Parking is horrible, but the area is beautiful - Worth the trip!! Don't forget the Railroad Museum...
My daughter and I woke up early to drive to Salish lodge at Snoqualmie Falls for a spontaneous breakfast. We'd loved our meal, and the falls are always beautiful. It was raining, but the observation areas were paved and easy to navigate on a wet day. This location is always worth a drive from Seattle.
