I recently spent a week at the Greenwich Hotel. I took the tube from Heathrow to the hotel and had no issues getting there through to Deptford Bridge. Once you figure out the transit system, you appreciate the location of this hotel away from the hustle and bustle of others. More great points on location are that it's next to a Tesco Express, where we could get our daily supply of water prior to exploring the city, and our nightly treats to eat while back at the hotel. This hotel is also just around the corner from a great fish and chips place, and just down from the train station is a bunch of other great eateries. Upon checking in, the staff were extremely polite and informative. Everything went smoothly. Our room was up on the 4th floor, with a really cozy view of the courtyard. Although the room was small (as is everything in London so I was expecting this), it was comfortable and inviting. The only thing I wish it had was a bar fridge. Overall, I am glad I stayed here, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a more personal touch, while being quite affordable, and in a pretty decent location if you don't want to be smack-dab in the middle of the city.

Although this hotel was very nice, modern and clean, we felt as if we were staying in the business district of London. The hotel was fine, but for the price per night I was very disappointed that wifi was not included. This should be a standard with any hotel these days. And $14.99 pounds for 24 hours of wifi converted to Canadian dollars is a lot of money.

Perfect location near Waterloo and Westminster tube stations. Hotel was very close to the London eye and is ideal as a base for sightseeing around London. Family of 2 adults and 2 children (12,15years) we had a studio room which was great. Two sleeping areas with a mini kitchen in between both which included a microwave. We would most definitely stay here again.
