With a great rate that is highly competitive against other hotels in the area, this is a great find. Although the room I was in (219) had clearly been missed from renovation works, it was perfectly comfortable. Issues of chipped tiles in the bathroom, shoddy plasterwork and a shower that was far too low for the average man, this was all outweighed by the proximity to Gloucester Road station and the room rates. I had an issue with my heating (not working) on night one, which was duly fixed by maintenance when raised with reception for my second night. All in all, a pleasant stay and a very good sleep in a comfortable, clean bed.

Small hotel with the reception and breakfast room in the basement. We were on the top floor so had four floors to climb and there is no lift, so not suitable for people with mobility difficulties. However the receptionist carried our case up.
The breakfast was nice if you want a full English but the continental style breakfast was extremely lacking with apples being the only fruit on offer and the cereal already in the bowls. My friend asked just for bacon for the cooked option and was only given one rasher!
In saying all that it was clean and comfy and in a great location.

Hotel clean friendly and very helpful staff I manage to accidentally left my handbag in lift and of course panic sets in (and you know what's inside of a woman's handbag) went to the reception and the staff was very help and in no time they all started the search for this bag and it was even suggested that they would look at CCTV however there's was no need thanks to the help of the fantastic staff bag was found with all valuables safely returned.

Small, clean, functional. My room didn't even have windows, but was clean and the bed was comfortable enough. If you just need somewhere basic and cheap-ish to sleep, this will do. If you want more, it won't.
