Great Spring Break Getaway
We came to South Padre with friends for my daughter’s senior spring break. La Isla offered a perfect getaway for our group! The condo was spotless and property management was extremely responsive and helpful. We would stay here again!

Very nice
Overall, we enjoyed our first visit to SPI, and the place was very nice. The complex was away from the busy street has two pools and hot tubs, and has great access to the beach. The unit is spacious and functional with excellent views of the Bay. There is no balcony or outdoor access from the unit (12th floor), but there is plenty of common area on the ground floor. We recommend staying here.

We chose this property because all 3 couples would have their own bed/bath. It was clean and had plenty of room for all 6 of us. Having stayed in this SPI before, I assumed we had a patio. That was not the case. The windows did allow a beautiful view of the bay side. There's nowhere upstairs to be able to look out and see if the hot tub has room. The place had bare bones for small amenities. I knew we'd need to buy coffee, but filters would have been a nicety and having 2 garbage bags was silly.

Winter Vacation
Our stay was amazing. The only issue is when it gets cold the windows condensation made the floor wet out about 2-3 feet which is very slippery and caused 2 of us to almost fall. The walk to the beach was short and awesome. The hot tub and pool were close and very functional and enjoyable. Overall our stay was perfect. Thank you!

Overall great place good staff, only gripe would be on the bathrooms all toilets had a problem flushing as theirs toilets usually do also the showers valves didn’t seem very secure but that’s just nitty Gritty stuff overall would book again

Outstanding views & great space
We loved the floor to ceiling windows in living areas with great sunset views from the 12th floor. Very spacious living areas. Tiles floors were awesome. All three bedrooms en-suite. Pools were very well maintained and only a short (lovely) walk to the beach.

Can't beat the location
Great location, very convenience, close to everything. Communication with the PM and the check in/out process were easy, streamlined. The whole complex was immaculate and the beach was clean and beautiful! Only one thing, that perhaps it's just me, I wished the condo had a balcony. I'd always enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the early morning enjoying a cup of coffee. I wish I had booked a similar property on the other side of the hall which had balcony.

We had a great time here! Check-in process was very simple. A short, 5 min walk to beach. The pools were clean and well maintained. The property is gated (has employees at gate letting people in 24/7) so it felt very safe! This property is on the 12th floor (top floor), elevators were very quick to bring us up and down. The place was clean, spacious, and very well stocked. The kitchen had all basic cooking items, utensils, and appliances. Plenty of closets and storage for everyone. The view from the place was excellent! You can see all of SPI. Very happy with our stay!

Very basic
We chose this property for the square footage. That is all that was good. Mattresses were horrible. Pillows were horrible and flat. If you want to grill anything you have to rent the grill. Never have I seen that. Very poorly stocked with cooking supplies like pots pans etc. Pools were nice. Check in was fine except we drove 7 hours to get there and arrived at 3:15. Could not check in until 4:00. We should have stayed at Sapphire. This place is more like a warehouse.

Beautiful apartment on the 12th floor. None of the TV's worked when we checked in and our contact for our stay did not care. Weather was not good for most of our two week stay. The floor got extremely cold, wet and slippery along all the front windows when it was raining and down it the 30's. Extremely well manicured property. Even though South Padre Island was not for us I would highly recommend this property for anyone visiting South Padre Island

Dining area had only 6 chairs and pictures showed eight.
Excellent accommodations but had trouble receiving an overnight package with medicine because it was delayed by receiving office and representative would not respond quickly. The package was in office over 3 hours after it was received.

Nice weekend getaway
We booked this property for an extended weekend getaway with family. The condo and overall facility was nice and clean. Very nice view from this unit. Unfortunately one of the two spas on site wasn’t working. Glad there was a second option as this condo does not have a bathtub. My in-laws have a small dog. The pet friendly booking option is great!
