“Perfect getaway”

“We had a very nice stay. The property is large, plenty of room for the dog to enjoy. The house is nice with lots of room for all to enjoy and was clean. Sitting out on the deck enjoying both the day and night was relaxing having a nice fire going. Close enough to Superior and Duluth for things to do and yet far enough away for piece and quite. Our hosts were responsive to email with check in and out very simple. Would stay again if we are back in the area.”

“We had a wonderful time staying at the Amnicon lodge! Everything exceeded our expectations, and it was a great place to relax and enjoy the nature. The one thing I would say is that the bathroom is a shared space with the other cabins on the property. I did not see this listed in the description, but it wasn’t really an issue for us; just good information for future guests!”

“The front desk staff were very friendly! Our room was clean' with a nice view of the harbor! We enjoyed the breakfast very much. Fresh fruit, yogurt. Hard boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, sausage 'pan cakes , several choices for coffee and juice.”

“It's OK to stay. Breakfast is good enough. But the back door is not well secured”

“ This is a very nice, quiet property in a little quiet town. It is right on the lake, we recommend paying extra for the lake side. Lovely view! The room was a nice size with two sinks, one in the bathroom and one in the room. That made it easy to get ready in the morning. Breakfast is continental, but still offered quite a few things like cereal, bagels, yogurt and hard boiled eggs. Staff was friendly. Our only negative would be that some staff stand around talking loudly about other……

“This suite was new, clean, nicely appointed. Kitchen included everything we needed and more. Loved being part of an area that is being revitalized, and loved the two restaurants on either side of the building! My only suggestion was to make the information about front/back door code more visible. I never did find the place in the documents that relayed the exterior door code, even after calling the property manager. ”
