Top Southwest Minnesota Hotel Reviews
Coratel Inn & Suites by Jasper Mankato
"This is a nice place that appears to be recently renovated. New floors, and although one comment said it smelled smoky, it only did when we first opened the door to the room. There is a lovely lake behind the property with a small park and walking path 3/4 around the lake, so good for dogs. Our room was small ... as I measured, about 240 sq feet ... but we were only there one night. The top bedspread was older and well used. The refrigerator and microwave were unplugged, but when plugged in, they both worked fine. The breakfast was spartan but as advertised ... bread, muffins, chocolate brownie rounds, instant oatmeal, coffee, juice. No fruit. It was a very good comparable value and a quaint location and stay. It worked well for the two of us and our very well-mannered, house-trained dog."
Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham New Ulm
"The management was super helpful. I had to check in early in the morning, so I called the night before to find out if it was possible. They noted my name and made sure a room was ready when I arrived. Very clean and cute room. They also have a pool. Next time I will make sure to bring my swimming suit."
AmericInn by Wyndham Jackson
"always enjoy our stop. The place smells wonderful. Front desk staff is always friendly and our room comfortable and clean."
Holiday Inn Express Hotel and Suites Mankato East by IHG
"The hotel is clean, the room and bed comfortable, Staff was friendly, breakfast was as expected, overall a nice experience, would recommend."
Log Inn on Madison Lake. Multi generation. Corporate retreat for team building
"They were so welcoming with snack, water and wine! Everyone loved the more homey atmosphere than some we stayed in! It was a family vacation, and perfect for that! Logs and paintings with the history was great! Definitely would go again!!!"
