“We like the historic nature of this hotel but feel that it needs some TLC. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We ate breakfast in the dining room once. The food was fine, but the floor was dirty under tables and under the sideboard. It had been swept by the evening meal which was very good. The chairs in the dining room look as if they need to be refurbished. Our large room had a door to a balcony which we enjoyed each day. The bed was comfortable but we found the room too warm,……

“There is no fridge or microwave in the room. On top of that the shower is extremely small, water gets everywhere & the corridor to the room smells terrible. Only plus was the easy check in / contactless check in, parking at the back and the room appeared clean from what I could see.”
