“We weren’t spending much time at the cabin as we were in town visiting my daughter at IU. I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the cabin and it’s a surroundings. ”

I triple-checked the listing to confirm there were no date restrictions; it was listed as active at the time we booked **and** arrived. When I messaged the host about this, he (eventually) sent me a screenshot of a note……

“Aaron was a great host! The cabin is neatly nestled atop a hill with amazing views of the water! Everything needed for a perfect getaway! Quiet friendly strip of homes. We got to listen to the wind rustle the leaves as we had a fire and cook smores, couldn’t ask for a better weekend, great job you guys”

“Horrible no running water and no shower”

“Check in/check out process was super easy. We had everything we needed, except for trash bags, which we were able to get from the office. All linens, dishes, silverware, pots and pans were provided. There is a stove, but no oven. I’d advise against buying food from the convenience store down the road from the campground, but if you do, check the expiration dates on everything. I’d definitely check out Lake Monroe. It is stunning! We will definitely be back. My only complaint is the mattress is……
