If you are retracing the old Route 66 this is a must visit. Place is old and worn, but it is clean. It also features on on site 50’s style dinner. A classic greasy spoon. Take pictures of their murals and nostalgic art pieces. It will be remembered better than experienced!

It is an older hotel and has plenty of character. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are more than adequate although a bit dated. Would recommend a stay here. Bar and restaurant onsite.

Room was clean but its an older hotel so some things were wore down, and the bed was xtra firm but overall for the price it was a good place to stay a night.

The room was not very clean, our room had no hangers for our clothes, we noticed each room to have different furniture step-ups. The furniture looked as it had been purchased @ a hotel/motel secondhand store. There is no elevator so if your room is on the second floor you'll have to walk ups stairs, just noting this for older persons.

This is a very basic motel-style place which is just a step above creepy, just a step above dingey. For one night, it was fine, but I wouldn't want to stay there longer.

During our Route 66 road trip, my husband and I tried to stay in hotels along Route 66 and hotels that weren't chain hotels. This property is not very well maintained. We had to change rooms as soon as we checked in because the draperies that covered a large window were broken. The hotel also had a strong marijuana odor. We learned the next day that half of the hotel is a long-term residence and that is where the odor was coming from.

The room we stayed in had what looked like coffee spilled on the bathroom door and bathroom counter and never cleaned up, and the chair provided to us in the room was filthy and stained beyond repair. Room also had a musty smell to it. Staff were amazing and super helpful!

It’s a shame that this hotel has not been kept up. It’s so rundown, but it does have some neat things there to look at. Our bathroom didn’t have an outdoor knob, the showerheads were made for somebody that stood about 3 foot tall. It just smelled like smoke and pot. If they would’ve kept this hotel up, I think it really would’ve been something that people would’ve enjoyed to come to

We had a good 2 night stay in Springfield, Il. Breakfast was tasty and bed was comfy. My only complaint was the dirty tub, with hair in the drain and the dirty toilet. I was given a free drink coupon when I placed a complaint.
