“My friend and I had a great stay here. The property feels very isolated but still close enough to "civilization" for you to pick up what you need, forgot, or ran out of during your trip. We went to a local gas station got extra ice and water and were back in about an hour. We did have a few encounters with wildlife (I'm no expert but one seemed like a bobcat which followed us while we were walking the puppy in the early morning, and the other looked like a wolf which kept its distance but……

Also the ac in the room can’t be changed so we woke up ever time it kicks on and off. “Do not eat at the Nietos Mexican Restaurant next door. All I ordered was queso and chips. Queso was vivid orange like cheeze whip, lumpy and got cold quickly. The chips are not fresh. Malakoff is just down the road.... The front desk clerk was nice but got impatient because I don't hear well and she had to repeat a lot. Those sconce lights are really bright. Could use a dimmer option. Overall, my stay was good. I would stay there again.”

“I booked this room through Expedia.com. Upon arrival I was told there was no room available. I asked why and was told their computer system overbooked the hotel and since I booked through Expedia, there was nothing they could or would do. We had to go to another town to get a room. Later when I called and complained to Expedia a representative called the Super 8\. When she returned to me she said she was told that the Super 8 had a water heater failure and it affected a section of the building.……

“The room was just okay for an overnite stay but I usally stay here and the rooms I use too had a bedspread on it the room I stayed in this time just had a blanket, and the room I ask for they say it was booked but I don't think so because the curtains in the room was open at all time, but for a one night it was just okay ”
