“The owner made us very welcome on arriving.
It was lovely to stay in a well maintained old property (16th century) with great character, with a welcoming open fire in the general sitting / dining area.
The bedroom window provided some lovely views of the fells.
Breakfast was good with plenty of choices. Eggs were provided by the free roaming hens in the garden.”

“Parking is easy,beside hotel.breakfast very good, nice selection. Staff are very good, friendly and helpful. Room is clean as is the whole place. We stayed one night last year, two nights this year,same room lovely views.”
