Definitely needs updated in areas. The elevator is a little sketchy. The Bed sheets are marked with sharpies and we actually found eye lash clusters on our blankets in one of the beds. There was still stuff on the walls in the hall and in the bathroom.

If you are looking for a hotel that is in the middle of things to do, this is not for you. I chose it for the fabulous view of the Arch as I was only staying for the evening then moving on.

The staff were friendly. It was quiet and the other visitors were polite when interacting. The room floor should have been shampooed before being rented out and there was something wrong with the shower head. Outside of that there were no other issues.

I was a little hesitant on this property after reviews but it wasn't bad at all! The staff was very friendly. The carpets were a bit worn, but the room was clean and large. It was a very convenient location to the downtown St. Louis area. It was only a 5 to 10 minute car ride across the bridge to all the fun things St. Louis has to offer. We stayed there with my family, including kids, and had no complaints at all

It was not what I expected from a casino hotel. T hotel looked clean but it had a musty smell. The casino was dirty and it really smelled old and musty. Didn’t eat at any of the restaurants. Just smelled to bad.

The employees were all super friendly and helpful. Nice surprise that this hotel provided a free shuttle to the cardinal games. It’s separate from the casino so there’s not a lot of activity thankfully. (Half the food options at the casino weren’t open so that was a downer but again, separate from hotel - but those are the only nearby options so wanted to note that.) The negative part of my review comes from the sketchiness of the room: lamp connected to bed was loose and crooked, the fridge in room wasn’t usable, the desk chair in room was broken and leaned way too far back, and there was a loose tile in the bathroom. Not a dealbreaker for me though and I plan to stay again the next time I come to town to see the Cardinals.

We love staying at Casino Queen! It is a bit outdated but the staff and convenience make up for that. They provide a free shuttle to the ballgames and being next to Draft Kings is the reason we chose to stay here.

When we 1st got there, there was used Q-tips under the bathroom cabinet and dead bugs. The bed sheet and comforter was tucked so far under the end of the bed that would not even cover our arms without scooting down in the bed or untucking them! Also your coffe sucks big time.

Housekeeping does a great job with what they have. Hotel smelled great and appeared clean. Rooms were slightly run down. Outlets behind wall mounted headboard didn’t work consistently. Lamp shades broken. Curtains don’t close all the way. Coffee not replenished on day 2. Use of wall mounted AC/heat unit rather than HVAC system will deter my next visit. Convenient to metro train so very easy to get into the city. Variety of Food options at casino - I only had breakfast there, it was nothing special. Pool was closed for cleaning the day we had some time to go, so I cannot speak on that. Front desk and housekeeping staff very welcoming and nice. Will probably be back if I am planning an inexpensive trip to STL again. Not luxury but it did its job.

Great place to stay for an event in St. Louis. However, management is falling asleep at the wheel. I’ve noticed over the years the hotel and casino are declining. The area smelled like skunk weed outside and in the lobby. The elevator had a control panel loose. The carpet in the room looks disgusting. The carpet in the casino looks like crap. It looks like the original carpet. Management needs to invest resources into cleaning and updating the facilities. In all it’s beginning to look like most of East St. Louis.

We love staying here because of the location and price. The rooms are clean and pretty modern but the TVs are disproportionately small....kind of weird. Overall not a bad place to stay considering proximity of the metro and the recently renovated casino and restaurant.

WE HAD A GREAT TIME AT QUEENS, ROOMS WERE NICE AND COMFORTABLE. THE FURNISHING NEEDS UPDATED OR REPLACED. WITH MY 73 YEAR OLD VISION IT WAS VERY HARD TO SEE THE TV LAYING IN THE BED.
