“The room was dirty. You could tell someone was sitting on the bed with propped up pillows, trash can had a dirty pair of underwear in it and trash on the floor. We were then given a room with a single queen bed (we paid for a room with 2 single beds). It was a tiny nasty room with torn curtains. We were under time constraints or we would have waited in line for another room.”

“If you are looking for a unique experience in a beautiful older home, this is the place in Mt. Pleasant. Very quiet when we stayed. We will definitely be back vs. staying in a hotel. Service was very friendly checking in and out.”

“I’ll just start by saying we booked late and this was one of only hotels left, so high price of room did not reflect quality and we are still had a great time at the event we went to. There was a note at front desk “staff stepped away” when we got there so had to wait to check in. Got a free water and rice crispy treat though! Front desk super nice. Room had funky smell and had to go to Meijer to get damp rid. Room had two small toilet paper rolls (about 1/4 of) roll when we checked in. Tried……
