Discover the quaint and comfortable Detlow's Treasured Cottage 2 just steps from Treasure Island's beach bliss. This thoughtfully designed classic beach cottage provides the perfect vacation retreat to explore the area which is teeming with natural beauty and coastal charm. The cottage is just 200 steps from the sugar sand beaches and award-winning sunsets known to Treasure Island.

This cottage features a kitchenette complete with a refrigerator, granite countertops, sink, coffee maker, toaster and hot plate to prepare simple vacation meals. This cozy abode also features a full bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a lofted bedroom space that includes a desk for the remote worker of the group.

Treasure Island is located on Florida's beautiful Gulf Coast, just north of St. Pete Beach and is endowed with miles of gorgeous white sand beaches that boast that 'Old Florida' feel. Treasure Island is a more peaceful option for those who want to stay away from the crowded beaches and makes it a perfect vacation spot for visitors looking for a quiet getaway. It is centrally located between St Pete Beach and next to the famous John's Pass Boardwalk, where you will find a classic mix of restaurants, bars, shopping and various attractions at either spot. The warm gentle waters of the Gulf of Mexico and the very best sunsets in the world await when you visit Treasure Island.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Excellent week stay
We loved everything about this cottage, from the large king bed on 2nd floor, We enjoyed the small kitchen/livingroom. We loved the grill area and patio was perfect. Bathroom/shower was very clean. Laundry was a bonus . We would love to stay again next year. When we had questions, they got back to us, right away. We was honored to stay there. Thank you AAA+ MT.

Not a ton of space but the location is outstanding
We enjoyed our stay at this venue in large part because of the convenience. A short walk down the lane to the beach. A short walk across the bridge to John's Pass. The property was clean and well appointed and I could tell the owners are passionate about providing a good experience. A couple of notes: * The space isn't large. I wouldn't recommend it for more than 2 people but it was fine for my wife and me. There is just a hot plate (no oven) and a "smaller" fridge but it was fine for our needs. * We did have wifi issues throughout the stay. I worked a fair amount and had to use my phone as a hotspot (and went to the library one day when my phone wasn't sufficient). The landlord tried to help but we never got it going. * Don't be alarmed by the mouse traps. I could see some people being concerned but we didn't see any critters during our stay. Candidly, I'd have probably placed them more discreetly on the property but we get the potential for needing them. All in all, a fantastic trip and I'd recommend the property.

Great getaway!
The location of our beach house was perfect. We did not have a car so everything was within walking distance. Such a short walk down the path to the beach made getting things to and from so much easier. The beach house was very clean upon our arrival.

Great location
Close walk to the beach, Property was very clean, parking in front of unit. Even though I did look at pictures and read reviews, this place was not what I hoped it would be. Small, uncomfortable furniture, mouse/rat traps and for older people, there are a stairs that become a pain.! I'm sure a young couple or single person might find this perfect for their needs. Furnished in cast off furnishings, it could be so much better.
