"My room at Donnybrook Hall had a very comfortable bed and modern bathroom, kept very clean by staff. They were great at communicating, and the neighborhood was pretty, peaceful and safe. Very easy to get to central Dublin with transit close by. I highly recommend it for a place to stay in Dublin."

The Mercantile Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The Mercantile is a recently renovated property, so everything is fresh and new. Rooms are a tad tight, but my understanding is that is to be expected. There isn’t much of a desk, and someone made a poor decision to glue their in-room phone right in the center of the little desk area there is. Bed was comfortable but the pillows are a little tough. Rooms were soundproofed so you don’t hear much outside, and they have great climate control/ air conditioning.
Breakfast service could use a bit of work in its execution and organization, but they’ll get there. All of the staff, from the front desk to the bar, are extremely friendly, kind and helpful. Lovely bartenders that know how to pour a pint of Guinness (very fresh and good). I’d have ate there more if the pub offered a discount for the hotel guests. I would recommend staying here if you’re looking to stay in temple bar. Beautiful spot. "
"the hotel is conveniently located close to city centre and shops, room was fairly clean but had areas of improvement, excellent breakfast and dining area"
"Beautiful hotel with a very friendly staff and clean, gorgeous rooms. We couldn’t have been happier with our experience- from a full breakfast to helping us make reservations- this was an amazing experience!"
