“We had an incredible stay at this Standish, Maine property! The view of the lake was absolutely gorgeous, and the peaceful setting made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. There was plenty of space and comfortable sleeping arrangements for our group of 8, and we especially loved gathering around the awesome fire pit overlooking the water.Each morning brought a stunning sunrise, and the home was stocked with everything we needed, making cooking and cleanup a breeze. “Overall it was a great stay with plenty of room for the 4 people we had. Super close to the beach and great food. I searched for awhile to find a place that had some private outdoor area and i gambled a little because there is another rental right behind the one we stayed in plus the owners home was directly in front of us and our only seperate-ish area was the fire pit area out front which is on what was a pretty busy road during the day, but at nighttime the road quieted down and the hosts……

“My husband and I were very pleased with the accommodations. Duplex was very clean and supplied with everything needed for our weeks stay. David was very accommodating as we had asked for an early check in along with extending our original booking by 1 extra night. He also provided excellent suggestions for restaurants. Loved the convenience of having a washer and dryer. I would highly recommend and will definitely be back if there is a need to visit the area again.”

“Clean, comfortable home with easy access to Portland, the beach, and outdoor vistas. The kitchen was well equipped and we were able to boil “lobstahs” and shuck oysters for our group of seven with ease, and the fire pit on the deck was a great place to have a glass of wine and discuss our adventures of the day. We travelled with our Yorkie and the artificial turf kept her feet clean during her trips to the backyard. A nice place in a quiet neighborhood! Looking forward to our next trip to Old……

“I’m not sure where to even start with this review. All I can say is “what a view” every morning we woke up to the beauty of Thomas Pond. Every night we went to bed under a sky full of stars. The home is a perfect lakeside retreat. Comfortable for our family of 3 and 2 more guests in the guest house. We could have all stayed in the main home but the separate homes was perfect for our situation. Fishing, paddle boarding and kayaking off of the pier every day was so much fun. Great kitchen to cook……

“We spent 2 nights at this little slice of heaven for my mother’s 70th birthday . We had a small group of us stay the 2 nights and some extra friends/ family visit one of the days to celebrate . Even with rainy weather we had such a great time! The cabin had everything we needed to enjoy ourselves , including an array of games! The property was beautiful and easy to find . We found a lovely coffee shop in downtown Fryeburg that had delicious coffee , bagels, and pastries . Would highly recommend!……
