"My two sisters and I loved everything about the place especially the kitchen and the temperature control via AC or heat. The only concern about the place is that it took 1-3 tries each time we had to unlock the front door by code. There was supposed to be music to help but couldn't really hear anything. May need some attention but have to admit we never alerted anyone at the time thinking it was related to our ineptitude! I tried to do this review on the Vacasa site but the page never came up...

"We needed a comfortable place to stop on a long drive to Canada. The place was very comfortable and the owner communicated in very clear and helpful ways. I needed an extra half hour at check out due to a work commitment. She was accommodating, WiFi worked great and I was able to engage without worry. Will definitely seek to stay again as 1 1/2 days in Portland wasn’t quite enough to truly enjoy the area."

"The second time I have rented this property. Not as clean this time but fully equipped. The whole outside including chairs could use a good power wash. A bat was found in a corner of downstairs bedroom. CO2 monitor went off 3 times once at 5:30AM. I assume after calling the number it was serviced as it never went off again although no follow up call or note was left that it had been serviced?"

"We arrived when electric crews were restoring service to everyone, and when the generators stopped, the sounds of loons and ducks took over. "Lovely little neighborhood, 2.5 blocks from Belleville Bakery and the Portland Observatory. ½ block from a park with a sunset view, though you can see it from the back yard, too. Easy walk to the dock where a bunch of boats launch, including Lucky Catch lobstering expeditions, which was a highlight. Rita & Ryan were extremely accommodating and helpful. Their place is hip without being too cool, and the back yard is great for coffee in the morning and/or a drink in the evening."
