"A quaint Inn that offers the best service and comfortable rooms. A little run down, but the old bookcase with glass doors, at the landing of the stairs, makes up for any cosmetic issues. Sheets are crisp and clean. Workers smiling and willing to go above and beyond. This will be my go-to “home” when visiting Halifax."

"Lovely location across from the lake, with beautiful fall colours. Easy to find, with lots of parking. Entrance is on the parking lot level, above the restaurant. Cozy suite, with snacks provided as breakfast option. Communal sitting area and deck. Close to the airport. "

"I chose this property because of location close to Halifax airport and the reviews raved about the breakfast and friendliness of the host couple, Sam & Kaz! Everything was over-the-top... including the 'loft' room which is the 3rd room which has it's own bathroom and a double bunk-bed! But it is not advertised as being open to the living room. That was okay for my daughter and I, but it might not be suitable for just a couple - depending ho much privacy you want! You can hear sounds from the kitchen at 7 AM, which again didn't bother us as we wanted to get going early but just a heads-up for anyone else who would want to know that detail! I appreciated the opportunity to meet new people around the breakfast table - Sunday morning we had three sets of a Mother/ daughter combo from three contries!!! ❤️ 😍 ❣️ Where else but a B&B? combo from three countries!!! ❤️ 😍 "

"This property was everything we had hoped for. Chris was a very pleasant and gracious host that greeted us upon arrival to give us a tour and helpful information. The location was perfect for our vacation as we were close enough to towns for access to groceries, restaurants, etc. but far enough away where it was incredibly beautiful and peaceful. We highly recommend!"
