“The facilities and amenities were excellent a coffee maker with fresh coffee, fresh milk, but also quality teas and upon arrival fresh cookies. “Unser Aufenthalt war super! Alles hat reibungslos funktioniert:) Wir wurden super lieb empfangen und bei Fragen wurde uns schnell geholfen. Das Auto konnte auf der Einfahrt geparkt werden. Die Gastgeber waren sehr zuvorkommend und haben rundum für alles gesorgt und und hilfreiche Tipps für Salisbury und Umgebung gegeben. Das Zimmer war sehr gemütlich (ein Lüfter für warme Tage wurde auch gestellt), man kann aber auch sehr schön draußen sitzen☺️ Das Frühstück war auch super 😊”

“I found this pub when looking for a room with a hot tub for one night away. It’s in a very quiet place with nice scenery. We received a very warm welcome from friendly, pleasant staff. We found all staff very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The room was spacious and very clean with everything we needed. “I have just stayed at The Fighting Cocks for the weekend. Unfortunately we choose the weekend of the A31 closure and the New Forest fires! Resulting in a lot of traffic passing the pub. Not their fault. The staff were very helpful and friendly the room was great, clean and comfortable and breakfast was included and really tasty. We had an evening meal on the Saturday which was ample and reasonably priced. All in all a great little stop over.”
