“The facilities and amenities were excellent a coffee maker with fresh coffee, fresh milk, but also quality teas and upon arrival fresh cookies. Those are the little touches together with friendly smiling staff that lifts any stay to the next standard. On top of it all a good nights stay, gorgeous breakfast and a very tasty dinner. “I have just stayed at The Fighting Cocks for the weekend. Unfortunately we choose the weekend of the A31 closure and the New Forest fires! Resulting in a lot of traffic passing the pub. “Had a lovely 3 night stay whilst we were over for a wedding. The room was lovely and clean, with everything we could need. We chose to only have breakfast on the first morning, as it was cheaper to walk into town. Our only disappointment was that we only found out that we had to pay for parking the day before we arrived. Parking was one of the main reasons that we chose the hotel, so this was a bit annoying. At least it was discounted.”
