“This motel is on the main road (US-60 or Ash Street) but was quiet during the holiday period. It is ideally situated near Hill Street, which goes into the historic district less than a mile away. Fast food is nearby, as is hiking at Round Mountain Park. El Rey is a self-described "vintage motor court" so looks the part outside. But the interior room was large enough, the bed mostly comfortable, the spacious shower always had hot water, and the wall heater worked well, with the usual humming....

“Due to some timing issues, we were allowed to check in early. The owner had the place ready for us with the A/C on. She was always available and always willing to help. The house is very spacious with wonderful accompaniments. Shower has great water pressure!!!!! It’s located right down the road from Canyon Lake! The mountains. We had a wonderful time!!! ”

“Beautiful house and comfy bed. The house is nessled right on a golf course with a small yard. My wife enjoyed spending her mornings on the patio with a cup of tea watching the quail and bunnies that live there. Great views of the Superstitions and close to hiking spots. Would definitely book again! ”
