The Wave was a beautiful property in close proximity to the village of Marblehead. The small boutique hotel had an on grounds bar and restaurant, which is always a must for us. My only complaint was the food at the restaurant. I had a sticky rice appetizer, which had the smallest amount of fish possible and was very disappointing. The next night we ordered a roast beef sandwich. While the amount of meat was generous, the disappointing part was that it was served cold and felt more like a deli style sandwich than a hot cheesy roast beef that I had expected. For a $24 + 2 more dollars for fries I, again, expected more. The hamburger was delicious…so just a few minor adjustments and the property would be perfect.
