Nice hotel, close to everything.

Location: Great location. Near all the shops and movie theatre. Probable could have used public transport if we didn't hire a car.
Hotel was very clean.. All facilities excellent, staff were very helpful and polite. Parking was an issue some days when car park was full and space was a very tight fit. Also parking was not cheap. Over all good experience.

Pros: Room was clean and cleaning staff very friendly.
Cons: Improved lighting in the bathroom Staff caring at least a little
Location: Excellent
Keys did not always work. Car park very small and hard to manoeuvre. The price when we booked was $25 for parking but was $30 when we booked. The receptionist then agreed and advised they would honour the booking price. On checkout we were charged $30 and staff refused to honour $25. Told us they would check with "management" but have not heard from. Safety issue was the that TV is positioned very close to the bed end and was hit a few times when walking past the bed. Room is well set up and functional.

Horrible hotel and horrible service

So after a busy day at a work conference I got to my hotel and checked in, I had a lot of luggage and was offered no help. Once i managed to get to my room the key would not open the door. I had to go back downstairs with all my luggage to find out that the receptionist had forgotten to activate my key. Once I got into my room none of the lights worked, the receptionist had forgotten to give me the key for the light. The room was okay but the walls were all covered in marks and it kind of smelt like a wet moldy towel. The hotel is nothing like the pictures. The following day I hired bikes from the hotel, one of the seats was up very high and the receptionist was unable to help or provide any tools to lower the seat. The other bike was also loaned with a broken petal which I did not no about until I started to ride the bike which hurt then hurt my foot. We then had to turn around and take the bikes back. The receptionist did not care much for our problems and offered no help what so ever. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone that is expecting to stay somewhere decent.

This is the second time we have stayed at the Quest Bondi Junction. The location is excellent (close to major shopping centres, restaurants and transport) and the rooms are a good price, size, clean and tidy. A couple of small issues: the shower leaked, so we were mopping the bathroom floor after each shower, and at one point when asking reception a question, they seemed a bit 'blase' in their response. Other than this, we would definitely stay at the hotel again.

Pros: room was airy and light. Nice bathroom
Cons: more tea bags . more soap
Location: Very handy to trains buses, beach and top shopping
Staff were friendly and efficient. The position of the Quest is ideal making it easy to travel around the city . Having a nice kitchenette is great .. so easy to prepare a snack.

The room was nicely appointed originally but showing signs of wear with a lot of marks and some damage to the walls. The use of carpet tiles gave the room a real commercial workplace feel. Kitchenette and bathroom were very well equipped, a real bonus unfortunately let down by the bed. Hard as a rock with matching bricklike pillows. Bed linen was OK but a very thin discount store doona not up to scratch. A drunken argument between two male "guests" in the corridors at midnight that raged for 20 mins with much slamming of doors really summed up our experience. With a little more attention to detail this would be a much more attractive destination.

Perfect for our needs

We had a great stay here. Needed somewhere close to St Vincent's hospital that had parking to fit our van (2m). This is the only place that we could find but it was perfect. Great price. Nice facilities. Lovely staff. 5-10 mins to hospital. Will stay there again and will recommend.

Clean, comfortable and very well priced. The service is professional and courteous. The hotel location is very handy and close to all the attractions that the Eastern Suburbs and Sydney CBD has to offer. We will be staying again.
